A .455 DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'W.S. TARGET', serial no. 450800,
for 1931, with 6in. barrel signed 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM', ramp and blade fore-sight, notch rear-sight to the stirrup-catch (replacement), holster guides to the frame, fluted cylinder with automatic eject on opening, chequered trigger blade and hammer spur, chequered walnut grips, commercial finish (possibly later), some bruising alongside hammer

Other Notes: According to the Webley & Scott records, revolver no. 450800 was WS target model with a 6 inch barrel and was sold to Wilkinson Sword & Co Pall Mall on 6 July 1931. The description states "Adjustable (20 yards) sights, pull off under 4lbs. Walnut grips". Sale price £5-3-6. The original stirrup may have been replaced to a fixed sighting notch version for war service.
